Sperian Instrumentation Quality Commitment

ISO 9001 / Continuous Improvement

Biosystems' commitment to quality was recognized on May 1, 1996 when we obtained ISO 9001 quality certification. ISO 9001 registration entails extensive employee training and standardization of operations ranging from initial product design all the way through manufacture, shipping, and service.

One essential aspect of Sperian Instrumentation's ISO 9001 quality system is continuous improvement. Our entire staff is trained to seek out ways to continually improve the quality of our products and services. Our corporate philosophy dictates that there is always a better way to serve our customers. Sperian relentlessly seeks these improvements to create greater customer satisfaction.

Products meet or exceed customer expectations

At Sperian Instrumentation, we are particularly proud of our commitment to quality. We have gone to great lengths to standardize our Quality system so that we may better serve you, our valued customer.

Our talented Engineering staff designs quality into every instrument utilizing the latest in design tools and technologies. Our two main focuses in designing quality products are a) reliability and b) ease of use. New products are thoroughly reviewed by interdepartmental teams throughout the design process to ensure manufacturability, reliability and ease of use.

Individual-unit quality tracking

Bar-coding is used to internally track components and instruments through the manufacturing process. All datalogging instruments have a built-in "QA / Diagnostic" program that allows the instrument to track and document its own progress through the quality assurance process. A comprehensive database is maintained for all instruments manufactured by Sperian for the entire life of the unit.

That means that when you call us for support or send an instrument to us for routine maintenance, we have complete records for the instrument, ranging from initial inspection results, final QC inspection, and all subsequent service and inspections that we've performed on your instrument. We carefully analyze all of these records to pinpoint potential product improvements, to develop action plans to prevent potential quality compromises, and much more. These records are invaluable to us as we strive to continually improve the quality of products and services we provide to you.
